1887 Night Market — July 4, 2026
Florida's premier Black-owned marketplace returns to the streets of Historic Eatonville. Free and open to all.
About the Market
A marketplace that built a town — relit.
In the 1880s, the founders of Eatonville traded among one another — turpentine workers, farmers, builders, and seamstresses — and built the first Black-owned commercial corridor in Florida.
The 1887 Night Market honors that legacy. Five hours of vendors, food trucks, live music, and street art under the lights of Club Eaton. Bring the family. Bring an appetite.
Our diverse marketplace is a celebration of Black American culture and a taste of the broader African Diaspora — from soul food and Caribbean flavors to handcrafted goods and visual art rooted in the Black experience.
